April has been a busy month here at Hope Lutheran Church. Be sure to look at the snapshot page of the events.
The Women of Hope group put together 96 Easter baskets that were taken to Option Pregnancy in Jacksonville and to The Call, a foster care organization in Little Rock.
The Lent Holy Week concluded with Easter, a celebration of our Risen Lord and Savior. The day started with breakfast, then a beautiful Easter service, followed by an egg hunt for the children. A wonderful day.
April ended with a Travelers winning baseball game and lunch. Go Travelers!
May Events
Saturday, May 3 – Men’s breakfast Bible study in our fellowship hall. Come study the Book of Revelation and enjoy a great breakfast and Christian fellowship.
Sunday, May 4 – Special voters meeting following service.
Wednesday, May 14 – No service or classes since Pastor will be out of town attending a Pastors Conference.
Thursday, May 15 – starting the Oktoberfest meetings. Come at 6 p.m. and get involved.
Sunday, May 18 – Women of Hope host their annual salad luncheon. All women are invited. Come and bring a friend or neighbor.
Saturday, May 24 – Family Fun time in our gym from 3-5 p.m. Enjoy pickleball, corn toss, or so many other games. Fun for all ages.
Sunday, May 25 – End of month potluck lunch following service
Tuesday, May 27 – Women of Hope monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m.
VBS meetings will be every Saturday in May at 10 a.m.
JUNE 21 is our Vacation Bible School day. Save the day now. More information will be available soon. Contact our church for more details.
Regularly Scheduled Bible Study
Bible Study — 9:00 am every Sunday. Come and join the study on Luther’s Small Catechism, donuts and coffee are provided.
Wednesday Zoom Bible Study — 9:00 am every Wednesday. Join the study of the Book of Concord.
Evening Bible study on the Book of Genesis on Wednesday 6:00 p.m.
Monthly men’s breakfast Bible study of the Book of Revelation meets the second Saturday of the month here at Hope fellowship hall at 8 a.m.
