There are always activities going on at Hope Lutheran Church for everyone to participate in. These events change monthly, so please check back to see what is happening now. For more information about any of these events or to sign up, please contact the church office at 501-982-1333.

Welcome to all the upcoming events at Hope!

The collection for personal care kits for the Lutheran World Relief is in full swing. These kits will be assembled In October and delivered to the designated drop off in November. Please bring in any of these items: metal nail clippers, sturdy comb, single wrapped toothbrush, bath size bars of soap, bath towel 52” x 27”. There will be containers in the narthex for all these items. Thanks for your help.

Upcoming dates to remember:

Monday evenings the choir has resumed rehearsal time at 6:00 p.m. They already have a schedule throughout the rest of the year for Sundays they will be singing. It’s never too late to join in.

Tuesday, September 23 is the LWML Women of Hope meeting at 6:30 p.m. Come see what mission project we are working on now. Also at 10:00 a.m. a prayer group will be gathering in the fellowship hall to lift up our voices in prayer for those in need. Join us if you are available.

Friday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. there is a Baby Shower for Mivca & Charles Nelson. What a celebration. There will be snacks as we shower them with gifts.

Sunday, September 28 will end the month with our regular potluck luncheon. Bring along a dish to pass and enjoy some great church family fellowship.

Saturday, October 4 at 8:00 a.m. is the Bible Study Breakfast. Come to have a great homemade breakfast and study the Book of Revelation.

Sunday, October 26 is Reformation Day. Time to celebrate our Lutheran heritage. This day will also be Confirmation Day. There will be a reception for the confirmands following service.

Tuesday, October 28 the LWML Women of Hope will be assembling our Lutheran World Relief personal care kits. These will be delivered in early November to a partner Lutheran church to be sent off to LWR. This will be an exciting meeting as we complete this Servant project that reaches all over the world.

NOW for the BIG EVENT! Saturday, October 25 from 10-4 is the event we have be planning all year – OKTOBERFEST AND CAR SHOW. The flyer is below. There will be German food, games and prizes, bouncy houses for kids, music, blood mobile, many venders, animal shelter, and the Big Car Show and Shine. This will be a fun day for the entire family. Come and bring your family and friends. Hope to see you there.

Regularly Scheduled Bible Study

Bible Study — 9:00 am every Sunday. Come and join the study on Luther’s Small Catechism, donuts and coffee are provided.

Wednesday Zoom Bible Study — 9:00 am every Wednesday. Join the study of the Book of Concord.

Evening Bible study on the Book of Daniel on Wednesday 6:00 p.m.

Monthly men’s breakfast Bible study of the Book of Revelation meets the second Saturday of the month here at Hope fellowship hall at 8 a.m.
